Cornwall’s Geo-Resources Odyssey: A Miss Molecule Exploration

Miss Molecule & Friends is a series of inspirational digital resources, aligned to the UK school curriculum, to be used independently by teachers, parents, and the public to educate and inform children aged between 9 and 11 years.

Good Growth Principles Guidance Documents

Status – Completed

At the heart of the good growth principles is a desire to encourage projects to move beyond best practice and prioritise consideration on the wider impacts their projects will have on society and the environment.

Geo-Resources STEM Camp

Status – Completed

In the February half term 2025, a STEM camp was held in Bodmin for 17 local year 8 students with an interest in science, geography, earth sciences or geology. This was run by STEM UK with the help of STEM ambassadors from industry.

Cornwall Geoconservation Group

Status – Completed

This project has re-aligned, updated, strengthened and generated additional awareness of the Cornwall Geoconservation Group (CGG) as part of the Royal Geological Society of Cornwall. It involves providing easy on-line access to County Geology Site information via Cornwall Mining and Georesources Alliance and an enhanced CGG site.
