The official launch of the Critical Minerals Equipment Hub took place on 11th February, on the Penryn Campus. The CMEH is a brand new, nationally unique facility for the Geo-Resources sector that will provide state-of-the-art green mineral processing equipment and expertise. Based at the Camborne School of Mines, with equipment also hosted at Bluecap Resources, the Paterson & Cooke business premises, with Petrolab Ltd also on board as a key stakeholder, the Hub assets will be accessible to the region’s industry, research and development sectors, and expand business with worldwide clients. The Hub is funded by the Shared Prosperity Fund and forms part of Cornwall Council’s Good Growth Investment Plan.
