Tin Smelter Preliminary Assessment Executive Summary
The executive summary for a high level report looking into the suitability for a tin smelter to be developed.
This high-level study is focussed on the potential for a smelting facility to be constructed, ideally in Cornwall but within the UK, to process concentrates from nearby mines, both from current and projected new mines, located in Cornwall, the rest of the UK and potentially from Europe.
The metals of interest include tin, copper, lead, zinc and tungsten, but with a particular focus on tin with its historic connections to Cornwall.
